I learnt this tune a couple of days ago from Dave Garman at the Hibernia Centre, Bristol.
A simple enough tune, but with great potential for variation and ornamentation. Every time Dave plays it he does something different (a slide, a roll, a cut, a grace note, extra notes, double stopping, etc). A tune to be played with swing. So what I've submitted is a distillation of what he plays.
It has a Scottish feel to it (A maj, top two strings on the fiddle only) and the beginning is similar to the Atholl Highlanders. But Dave is Scottish anyway, so that's perhaps not surprising.
Dave calls this tune "Sean Ryan's Number One".

Oops! I mistyped Dave's name - it should be Dave Garner.
Sorry Dave!
