Martin Wynne's #3

This is Martin Wynne's third composition. This version comes from Dublin University's TradSoc Music Archive. The Irish band Dervish do a nice setting on their "Midsummer's Night" cd (it's the first tune in the Midsummer's Night set of reels that kicks off the album).

Is there another Martin Wnne's and it starts up really high and it's in a kind of minor key?

Martin Wynne's No # (Gort tape from 1990)

Here's the ABCs for the way I remember hearing it on the 1990 Gort session tape with Kevin Crawford and Tony Linanne:

What I hear the flute doing on the Gort tape goes more like this in the first part:
dged ~B3B|BGDG EA~A2|BGDG cdeg|fgaf gfeg|

They play it this way also on Maiden Voyage, in the same set again (starting with the Aughacashel, which the track notes call Sean Ryan's there).

Will's last transcription rings a bell with me.
