Scalloway Voe
Submitted in response to a request from domnull. I happened to have a copy of this Shetland tune in a pile of photocopied manuscripts handwritten by an unknown source. I've converted this sheetmusic into abc as is. Next to the title on the right hand side is what appears to be the name of the author, which is Ronnie Cooper. I wasn't aware that he had written this tune. A quick google search reveals that "voe" is a word used in Shetland and Orkney to mean "inlet", "bay", or "creek", derived from the Norse "vagr".
