Hairs in the Chowder ~

We're partial to corn chowder, one of our favourite luxuries. We'd grown some lovely corn and one afternoon we husked and hulled a load of it an ended up making one of the best chowders we have ever tasted, and there was agreement from those we shared it with, including one of the three loved ones who is presently dieing from smoking related cancer.

But hey, this is about this tune. I've given a few minor takes on it and finished with one that has a second ending, returning to that of the first. These are gleaned from my experience on several counts including an appreciation of the music of Julia Clifford, Denis Murphy and Matt Cranitch ~ and others. So, it isn't multi-part, I just let it fly and grabbed some of the variations on the way, not ornaments, just melodic bits here and there...
