This tune was written in 2003 by Liz Kane for her maternal grandmother. It's the second tune in a set, following Jig for Jimmy, written by Liz for her maternal grandfather.

A sweet, dark little jig, played with heart. The sort of tune people say, "I wish I'd written it."
