Nice simple tune
I got it originally from a book called "The Trip to Sligo". There's an E somewhere I usually play as a D, but I've noted the original E because it's more interesting.
I just play the tune straight, with bounce. I like it better as The Winding Road than as the Idle Road. It seems to wind.

The Cordial Jig
I know this as "The Cordial Jig", as played by Francis McPeake. It's also in his whistle book.
