I know it isn't in G Maj, but the tune would have to be modified to enter it as A minor. I have always regarded modes as a bit academic so don't really think in them, but if anyone wants to suggest the correct mode it should be entered under, then I will edit it.

It's A dorian.
Most tunes that are ostensibly in A minor are actually in A dorian i.e. the F is sharp (just like G major).
