Hobble the Boutches
This is a cool reel in the latest issue of Treoir. The chords are my own, and probably slightly screwy but seemed to work well enough on a cursory run-through with my guitar.
According to Treoir:
“This tune was in the repertoire of the very musical Reilly family from Drumreilly in Sth. Co. Leitrim. A transcription can be found in Ryan’s Mammoth Collection, P. 65.”
BTW, anybody know what boutches are?
