"Waltz/Jig for Vicki"
I wrote this as a slow jig in 1990 and recently changed it to a waltz as it seemed more suited the stately pace of a waltz rather than the faster pace of a dancy sort o'jig type thing. It was composed as a solo guitar piece in Open Gm (DGDGBbD) tuning (Capo on 5th fret). If anyone wants a guitar TAB version of this [in 6/8] - you can find it listed and available free at :

It is dedicated to an old friend and former musical partner - fiddle player Vicki Mogridge, and is intended to be a "listening" tune more than a "dance" tune. It sounds nice on steel string guitar and is relatively easy to play in Open Gm (DGDGBbD). I composed it in Bm, but it could easily be transposed to Am or Gm.
