what is it? where does it come from? sounds like a music hall type song tune to me. Who are you linker? where do you live? what do you play? How does this tune relate to ITM?

There in fact is a song "I Had A Hat" -- the Newfoundland band The Government Rams recorded it on their first (and only?) album. I don't know if it's music hall or not (though my guess is it is), but it's one of those damnable ditties you can't get out of your head once you've heard it a couple of times.
This sounds someone took the tune and turned it into a reel.
