Down in the moss pit
This name relates to my daughter's first rock concert. When she got home my wife asked her how she got on down in the moss pit (mosh pit!).
I wrote this for highland pipes and the syncopated bars are played a little differently - instead of <B2 d2 f2> at the end of line one, I would play <Bad afa>. The high a vanishes giving a stacatto/syncopated effect. On another instrument, you might play the long notes stacatto? Try it out and let me know what works for you.
I've posted the pipe music at viperpiper = http://www.viperpiper.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2703

lovely tune, these bars with 2.2.2 instaed of 3.3 and the melody gives it IMHO a touch of galician/asturian muineira!

"....a touch of galician/asturian muineira"
...or a touch of Leonard Bernstein.
