Murphy's Hound
I learned this great tune from Paul McGrattan's excellent Keelwest album. He plays it in between The Dispute at the Crossroads and The Satin Slipper.

Hi,
Check this against the Outdoor Relief that was posted recently. It's a close relative.

O'Reilly and Murphy
Francis O'Neill got this from Jeremiah O'Reilly, hence the title "O'Reilly's Greyhound." Breandan Breathnach published it as "Murphy's Greyhound."

I've just found this tune is on a couple of recordings I received from Claddagh Records this morning. It's got different titles.
"Tory Island" on Brian Rooney "From Leitrim to London."
"The Stone in the Field" on Mary MacNamara "The Blackberry Blossom." (probably misnamed)

It's also in O'Neill's as "The Missing Guest". Fantastic tune.
