Sorry I haven't got a name for this tune. I got it from an early Capercaillie album - it appears in a big set of tunes without any names given. I don't know whether it's of Irish or Scottish origin - it could be their own composition. Does anyone else has know it, or have a name for it?

Just remembered - on the recording it's played in F# dorian (3 sharps). I transposed it to a more practical key.

"Wink and She'll Follow You" ~ & a problem of memory
Discussion: Anyone know this one?

In this one 'Ger the Rigger' submitted the exact same transcription just previous as 'gan ainm' asking if anyone had a name for it...
Out of that some interesting and relevant comment was added ~
It's the first tune in Fairport Convention's 'Dirty Linen' medley. I've just dug out my ancient Dave Swarbrick music book and it's in there as.... 'title unknown'. D'oh!
