Flaherty's Hornpipe
This is a bit tricky on the fiddle with the crossing between the 2nd & 4th strings in the begining bit. The open A can be used instead of the low A as a variation. The Scotch snap in the B part is optional too, I've heard it done with the snap & liked it - so I left it in. This is not the most common of tunes but it is very nice.

This one was a favorite of Paddy Reynolds, who recorded it with Andy McGann (as "Flaherty's") and on his LP with Charlie Mulvihill, where he called it after Lad O'Beirne. It' was printed in Breathnach's Ceol Rince no. 4.
