Da Eye Wifey
Composed by Iain M. McLeod late of Shooglenifty.
Apparently the title refers to a rural optometrist of the Shetland Islands. Shooglenifty recorded this at a very relaxed tempo but it sounds good at a brisker pace too.

I put this on the session couple years back but got the name wrong (Da Eye Wifie) - in fact I didn't now the name at the time, having learn't it from a fiddler who also didn't know the name, and eventually 'Kenny' identified it for me
The result is that there is some variation between the two - this one is probably nearer the original, but you might like to try both
Anyway I love the tune - there's also a fine version on the Ceili Bandits 'Hangin at the Crossroads' listed as 'Shooglenifty Hornpipe'
I would agree that it sounds great at a fairly quick pace

Whoops!
Sorry, I checked for this tune in the archives before I posted it but didn't think of that spelling. Oh well...
