Surprised - I couldn't find this on site...

I could be more surprised - when somebody else does. I like this little polka, straight and under abuse, so decided to give the bare bones, almost, and some crazy ways with it from several sources including just hint of my own madness. I'm just entering the silly state of some kind of virus, syncopated coughing...

Almost forgot to mention, while this is transcribed in 'G', the tune can and has also been played in 'A' and 'D', and has been played as a set with itself, just changing keys...

"The Undertones" ~ put this one on your Christmas list

7.) polkas: "The No. 9" / /

This recording has been on mine for a couple of years now, and Dow / Mark has promised me a copy, not a COPY, but an authentic signed edition with the actual real sleeve notes and all with it, and a proper case too...

I thought I'd remind him by transcribing some tunes from this lovely CD. It is the only Australian-Irish commercial recording I've ever heard, but even matched up against all the other half-breed recording taking place ~ this is a sweet one and well deserves your consideration, also for the motivation and dedication involved in it...

This polka is similar to others but I think it has enough character of its own to deserve a place here, if for no other reason than to get Dow to save up his pennies and post the promised gift to me, and to shower deserved praise on the folks that did the work and music to make it happen...

Keep up the good works!!!

That explains why I couldn't shake that it was familiar and had to be here already... It was... :-/
