The "why" of the title
This is a tune I put together one morning while drinking coffee and trying to become lucid. The title refers to the pewter plugs on the foot-joints of old English flutes that you put oil on to make them seal before playing.
I hear this tune in my head played only moderately fast, with a bit of a melancholy feel.

The Pewter Plug
Great tune!
Shall be played slowly and and a bit polyphonically (Lunasa-like?)
