any tune called a Laridé is not a hornpipe, but a specific breton dance

I imagine Gian Marco is already aware of that fact, Strakajoe, but there is no Laridé time signature built into the bog standard ABC composition software. Of all the default time signatures that are available, hornpipe is the closest.

WHAT? Isn't a laride a Hornpipe? Oh dear! I can't believe it.

of course... I just wanted to prevent anybody trying to dance a hornpipe to this tune... but treated as a laridé, it's a nice dance...

Breton dances
They're amazing aren't they Joe? ast time I was at a Fest Noz was in Dinard about three years ago. The band was Carré Manchot! A bit like having Planxty play at a céilí. And the cider... oh the cider!
