This is the first tune on Altan's set of Gan Ainm/The Ashplant/The Trip To Cullenstown, from their album The Blue Idol. I've seen a few sources call this tune "The Gatehouse Maid", but I've always known that as a different tune.

The first part reminds me of that of this tune: http://thesession.org/tunes/display.php/2594 But, different.

I learnt this from a Sean Maguire recording. He called it 'The Gatehouse Maid' and so did Jimmy McHugh. Obviously a different Gatehouse Maid from the usual one!
