The Cliffs/Harvest Home Variation
This tune is a twist on the "Harvest Home", if your tired of the old standard this tune might be a nice alternative. I originally picked it up from a Charlie Lennon fiddle tutor video where he called it the "Harvest Home" but Bill Black told me it goes by "The Cliffs".
I was going over this tune with John Harvey last night & I figured he might want the dots. Instead of just Emailing him the abc's I figured I'd just post it for all.

The Cliffs
Those should be high d's at the end of each part. My bad.

Harvest Home /The Cliffs as a set
John Doherty plays the two together on the 1974 recording 'The Celebrated Recordings'

BTW this tune goes back to the 19th century, and glancing at the Fiddler's Companion, it looks like it is as well-documented back in time as "Harvest Home" is....

Alright, so I'm slow. I know you've got it in for me. I didn't make your 'discussion' go "POOF!" Also, I take back any aspersions I may have cast with regards to your baseball cap and the bacteria and fungi you're cultivating there...

"The Cliff Hornpipe" ~ dropping thirds:
The following extracts are from the playing of Alistair Anderson, concertina, Northumbria, the first four measure of the A-part:

Peter's transcription gives it a very 'schottische' swing to start off the B-part, that "duh-tuh, duh-tuh, dumm, dumm", I love it:

The Cliff Hornpipe
Thank you for your contributions 'c'. I've never heard Alistair Anderson play this, but my setting's very similar with those falling 3rds, only I play it in F, which plays nicely on my concertina. I've transcribed it without the skip to make it easier to read:
X: 1
T: The Cliff Hornpipe

Heh, heh, heh ~ I guessed you picked up that gauntlet big time ~
But what about additional points of humour? I'm not following it with a flood of D's, as I was only after getting you to MEET YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES!?

I do know what you mean about 'F', Anderson resorted to and taught certain cross fingerings for playing it in D...
