Joanna's Fast Tune
The posted version is just the outline of the tune. Play it as fast as possible but without losing the precision of the rhythm
It's in E dorian and works quite well against a basic E modal drone. I have a few variations worked out for it but I think it's capable of being developed in all sorts of interesting directions still.
It was written in November 2004 as the companion tune to a slow air ('Joanna's Slow Tune' which I haven't tried to post on this site yet). The title started as a working title (It's a fast tune and it’s dedicated to my friend Joanna Lee) but has stuck to it now as its 'official' title. It's supposed to be energetic and uplifting.
