Peter and Doreen Chiasson (March!)
I was hearing this tune in my head almost all the time while working this afternoon. I don't know why this one, not the others. Back home now, I've just found it's a composition of Brenda Stubbert. I transcribed it off Scottish fiddler Patsy Reid's album.
Just remind you this isn't a strathspey but a march. Don't play it fast.

Some of you might think this tune sounds similar to Scots tune "The Farewell": http://thesession.org/tunes/display.php/3214 Fiddlers may play two tunes in a set.

Which seems to be a totally different tune. Maybe my transcription has been misnamed.

And indeed it is/has been.
It's called Willie Kennedy's Strathspey and is on the same page (17) as Peter and Doreen Chiasson in Brenda Stubbert's Book (though I haven't seen it). The person who taught me this tune mixed up the titles.
