The Trip to Killarney: Ennis Ceili Band Tune!

I discovered this great pipe tune this morning from a very informal session recording: I got to know a very talented banjo guy when I was studying in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and he kindly recorded a set of jigs on my mini disc. The first one is "Butcher's March," and the second one is this jig, which he always calls "Ennis Ceili Band Tune." I've just checked the great ceili band's performance on radio programme "Ceili House" and found they play the exactly the same set of jigs! It was originally broadcasted on 6 Nov. but is still in the archive. That's something you shouldn't miss. Cracking!

Very ear-catching tune, isn't it? This version is almost the same as what Ennis Ceili Band play, but I added some fancy variations recorded in Leeds. Enjoy!

Also Recorded by Fisher Street

They play it after Helvic Head. The transition is a knock-out.
