Shetland Molecule
Written by John McCusker? This how we play it at the Fiddle Group in Oxford, not quite the same as on his CD Yella Hoose. We follow it with Frank's Reel.

Thanks for this one. My daughters attended a Master class led by John McCusker last Saturday in Derby (free) and he taught them this tune.
He didnt give them the dots, but they have played it all week anyway. I very nice tune

It's a G# the tune is in A major not D major as written. Sorry Steve W, the notes are fine but the key signature is wrong.

You're right, my mistake, sorry.
I can't seem to edit the key though?

Playing in G major
it can also be played in G major, that's easier on a D whistle, for those who aren't used to fingering a G#, the tune would be written just one note lower than what's written in the sheet music with a C nat instead of sharp of course
