This beautiful tune was written by Christopher Stout, one of the leading Shetland fiddlers. I learned it off the 2nd album of Fiddlers' Bid, but it seems the composer recorded it again on his solo album. According to the notes, it was named after "a headland on the island of Mousa, which Christopher's house overlooks."
I've been playing this tune in G on whistle and flute but transposed it back to its original key. It's pretty much the same as the transcription of the tune available on JC's except a few phrases, which I misremember. But what's wrong with this version?

Good post and a great tune!
Someone told me that a "taing" is a tounge of grazing land stretching out in the sea. "Hamna" is a name. In Norwegian "tange" means something similar to "taing".
