Rosbif Waltz
This is a French dance tune of unknown name. It was first recorded by an English band by the name of Rosbif, so the tune is known by that name. I play it on fiddle. It is also nice on harp - a mp3 file recording of it on harp is here: http://www.boydsirishmusic.com.au/alison/sound.htm

Rosbif waltz - key
I prefer to play this on fiddle in A minor - it makes for more straightforward fingering - it is nonetheless a lovely tune
cheers

Café du Canal - Pierre Perret
I believe this song has been written by a popular french singer which is call Pierre Perret. I haven't the cd so I have to check the second part to be sure. for the first half there is no doubt.
I've found it sung by somebody else : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwaFExVgxVY&feature=related
