Polyrhythmic tune
This crazy and wonderful tune comes from Emer Mayock's "Playground CD" It's mostly in 13/8 but has a few hiccups in places. I've tried to group the notes into pulses of threes and fours. The primary rhythmic pattern is 123-123-1234-123.
On the recording there's also an introductory part that goes like:
|: E2B A2F G2F2 DEF | E2B A2F G2F2 GAB |
E2B A2F G2F2 DEF | EFG FGA B2A2 FGA :|
but it seems more to set the scene than to take the tune anywhere. She plays it at the beginning of the track a few times through but never returns to it.
The recorded version also doesn't introduce the third part until having repeated AABB at least three times. The pattern then becomes AABBCC.
Try this tune out on your favorite accompanist!

Key change
I forgot to mention that this tune, though I've transcribed it in Em, is recorded on a low F whistle played with Em "fingers". Thus on the recording the notes come out in the key of Gm.

Slip slide
That's propably what Ian Anderson had in mind when writing his famous song "slip sliding away"!
