SnowyOwl's recent 'discussion' regarding sleep, and today my adding the 3-part "Three Little Drummers" in a 'comment', brought this old composition to mind. It comes from a case of me pestering a really nice, lovely and considerate mandolin player named Mary in Dublin one evening when she was probably hoping I'd see the time and head home. Instead this, me having a lark keeping her up late jamming - but I think in the end she enjoyed the outcome - - - meaning the tune...
