A very fine reel by Mike Hoban, as played by Altan on The Blue Idol. This tune isn't listed on the album on here...
I've also heard this in A Dorian at sessions, starting on D on the fiddle instead of E.

Note-
I normally play the G-Natural in the last bar as a variation; otherwise I play an A.

You're welcome, Kenny. I had been meaning to learn this tune for months... I heard it at a session and the only part I remembered was the first bar of the A section. Then I heard it on Altan's album... and it all came to me. hehe

In the 5th bar of the A part, I hear one fiddle playing it as noted above, while the other plays: |e/e/e ae cAAc|.
Also note the sharped d in bar 5 of the B part.
