Goes well with The Otter's Holt following it, and both tunes are great to play in hornpipe rhythm.

Another Setting

Here is another version, which is similar to Pigeon on the Gate.

I got this setting from Sonja O'Brien at Boghill Centre, Kilfenora, Co. Clare. I suspect it comes from the playing of Bothy Band in their "Out of the Wind into the Sun."

Bothy Band - Out of the Wind into the Sun

Transposed to the key the Bothies play it in when they play it with The Morning Star and Fisherman's Lilt. Thanks to Jens Wollschläger's ABC Transposer! (Phew!)

I decided to learn this tune in honour of a horrible woman who was indeed the drunken landlady of a local pub... my ambition is to someday busk with it outside the pub. She won't get it but it'll give me great satisfaction.
