Frankie Kennedy's Reel
This is the mysterious third reel on the "Cat that Ate the Candle/Over the Water to Bessie" set played by Frankie Kennedy on Altan's first album. I can't find any information on it anywhere so I just called it Frankie Kennedy's. I don't know the composer, but just a wild guess I would say either Frankie or Mairead. I am pretty sure that the key of A is correct but the dorian mode is just a guess. It kinda sounds dorian, but without any Cs, I can't tell for sure.
This one of the first tunes I learned and one of my favorites so I had to share. If anyone has any more information about this tune, please enlighten me.

Sorry, scott - see "Dandy Denny Cronin", which I posted earlier this year, although Frankie's setting is slightly different.

I guess my search was not as thorough as I thought. I probably ran across it but Kennedy's setting is different enough that I didn't recognize it. Thanks for the info and sorry for the repost.
