Blue-Eyed Rascal

A set dance learned from Patty Furlong's CD. She plays it at 48 beats (half notes) per minute, with a step-dancer joining in for the 2nd time through. I was inspired to re-learn it (I had learned it several months ago, but it didn't stick) after hearing Teada play it in concert last night.

Does this belong in the hornpipe section, or would it be more appropriately called a barndance?

Hornpiper

It's a popular hornpipe dance in the irish dancing world at the moment.

Re: Blue Eyed Rascal

Going to learn this one for a step dance troupe I'm working with. Little bitty girl rips this one out, she can't be older than 9 or 10.
