Paddy Reynold's Jig
Paddy Reynold's is a current NYC fiddler who was raised in Killavill, Co. Sligo - the breeding ground of some of the best Fiddlers. This tune may seem tricky because of the key but it is a wonderful fiddle tune & not really all that hard to play. I got this setting from Tony Demarco & Brian Conway's album "Apple in Winter".

Oops!!
This is called Dave Collins's jig not Paddy Reynold's. I think Dave is a relation to Kathleen Collins, I think they are Brother & Sister. The whole Collins family was involved one way or another with music & dance.

Tecnical note
Sorry to get technical, but it's in B flat rather than F. It happens that E flat, the 4th degree of the scale, is not used anywhere in this tune (it is hexatonic), so you can get away with just the B flat in the key signature... Or perhaps if the 4th WERE used it would be E natural, making it B flat Lydian.

Your right - it's in Bb Major but that wasn't an option on the input screen.
I coiuld've posted it in GDor. (Two Flats) but would be very misleading to someone going by modal reference. So I left it in F.
At least someone noticed the tune!
