Trotting to Larne
From the playing of Boys of the Lough on “Open Road” (Topic; 1983) (Aly Bain; Cathal McConnell; Dave Richardson; Tich Richardson). Sleeve notes state: “Fiddler Pat Neilly whistled Trotting to Larne to Cathal over the telephone so he could learn it. A manuscript of the tune was later sent to us by Mrs J. McAuley of Newtownabbey, Co Antrim, showing that the tune was composed by John T. Blair of Larne, 23 July 1957.”
