Kinda funny to see this posted. Few summers ago, I was bored at a job and there was rap music on the radio. I of course had a tin whistle nearby and just started playing random notes to the beat. It actually sounded like a tune, one that I hadn't recalled hearing before. I wrote down the notes and figured I'd do some searching around to see if it was in any way original. Eventually, I found a tune nearly identical, and it was indeed the Lobster. Never heard the tune in this lifetime. Pure coincidence. Funny how that stuff works out.

I first heard it played by DeDannan - the second tune here:

then emailed the mighty Will CPT to see if he knew the name, which he didn't. Instead he transcribed the whole tune (above) direct from the source! Thanks, Will for making this tune available to all . Maybe someone will recognize it.

Sorry, the CPT transcription didn't give 'lead-ins', so, after adding the lead-ins I missed eliminating that last beat of the last bar, the AF... For the sake of the original, it merely starts so, no lead-in:

That was my fartin' around as I was playing through the ABCs, after moving them to Notepad...
