Doon-Hingin' Tie
There was a request for this. It's a modern (1993-ish) reel by Iain Peterson of Dollar, Central Scotland. Possibly a tribute to Tom Anderson (1910 - 1991), the father-figure of Shetland fiddle music (a worthy tribute if it is, but I'd be interested to know if anyone has more info). Certainly, Shetland Young Heritage perform it on the first Evolving Tradition CD combined with another Iain Peterson reel, Tammy Anderson. It also appears on the Waves CD by Shetland band Rock, Salt and Nails (credited to Captain Iain Peterson). It is published in the Nineties Collection. This is a slightly different version, with dotted crotchets and quavers where the original has minims.
