Garrett Barry's Reel
There is a "Garrett Barry's" jig already in the Tunes section. This tune is a reel. Also, several references to "Garrett Barry's" in the Recordings section should be to the reel, not the jig. This is bound to get confusing.
I learned this from Eoin O'Neill's "In Session" CD, where Yvonne Casey plays it on fiddle in a set followed by "Gatehouse Maid." You can also see them play it on the Custy's Music web site (look under video session clips). You can hear it played on flute on "Music At Matt Malloy's", in a set followed by "Miss McLeod's." A nice accordian version is on John Williams' self-titled CD in a set preceeded by "Darley's (a.k.a. Four Mile Stone) and "The Jug of Punch."

Mister McLeod's
I've just learned it from Mike Rafferty's flute playing.

Mister McLeod's
I forgot to mention it is Mike Rafferty who gave the alternative title.

I like the other versions here more than the Matt Molloy version. Strange - I usually like his settings.

This is in Gmaj, not Ador.

Garrett Barry's (reel)
Here's a somewhat closer transcription of what Yvonne Casey plays, based on a YouTube video posted in this thread: http://www.thesession.org/discussions/display/15829.
It's lovely playing. It's not as "minimalist" as some might think at first blush. Yvonne uses some choice cuts, bowed triplets, and rolls. I'm not so crazy about those long Gs in the first part and long As at the end of the second part, but Yvonne makes them work.
For the G3s, I also play variations: GFG or GDG or ~G3. For the A3s (at the turn from the first half into the second, and again when the second half repeats), I sometimes play A2 B/c/d or AcBA to get back to the g.
Also, I sometimes add slurred triplets to some of the quarter note g's and a's in the 2nd part, for example: |b-g3 (3aba ge|
