Wrong key/part missing

"The Ross Battery" is a 4-part 6/8 march in the key of A.

Could u help me, please ?
I wrote it down as I knew that march

In D, not A.

Sorry, kirlino, my mistake. I think it's in D and not A, and yes, I will help. I'll send you an e-mail through the website in the next few days. What instrument do you play, and who did you learn the "Ross Battery" from?

Thank you Kenny
I play DADGAD guitar and I'm singer in a group called Liltin' Haddock.
I've heard "Ross Battery march" during a "Deaf shepherd" gig, played by Rory Campbell with a flute.
I'd like to find a good strahtspey and a good reel to build a medley.

The Ross Battery

Key - D [ 4 parts ], but please, a 6/8 march - not a jig!

Thank you very much Kenny.
I have updated the tune.
I knew that Ross Battery was a march, but when I try to submit it as a march there isn't the category: I can only choose between jig, reel, strathspey, waltz, barndance, hornpipe.
I've choosen jig 'cause it's a 6/8....

Thanks for posting this -

Great tune, both of you! This just swings along, I've tried it with a few Strathspeys but haven't found one which "really" fits the brite nature of this piece.

MSRs

The March in a March, Strathspey and Reel is always a 2/4 rather than 6/8, but there's no law against it! Incidentally, I think yet another composition of Donald McLeod, although 1 book does attribute it to Peter McLeod.

Let's try "Drumnagarry strathspey" !
