Newcastle Bridge
This tune was composed by Abraham Mackintosh (b. 1769), a Scottish fiddler and composer who moved to Tyneside, much like James Hill, only earlier. He composed a lot of nice tunes. This one and Blaydon Flats http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display.php/2741 are particularly good ones that are still popular today. This was originally meant to be a march I think, but I play it as a jig.
