My first slip
I think the name was given by Willie Clancy and it was the first slip jig he learnt...and not the first panties he removed

I know this tune from Paul McGrattan's solo album "The Frost is All Over." He calls it "Hardiman the Fiddler," but I cannot see the resemblance between this tune and the well-know slip jig. It sounds like a different tune to me.
I really love this one, but have been too lazy to learn it by ear. Thanks for posting it. It's a really lovely tune.

My first slip
It was my first slip I learnt, too. It was part of a beginner level pipe course at WCSS Milltown Malbay. I think I learnt it from Nollaig Mac Carthaigh, maybe the best pipes teacher I know.
