Good Friday
I wrote this tune last night and changed it a little bit just before now. Actually it's not an entirely original composition of mine, but based on traditional reel "Master McDermott's." I still struggling with the reel, so tried writing a jig version of it.
Obviously, yesterday was Friday. And I just remember I missed a session in a famous pub in Westport several years ago because it was Good Friday. I was really ignorant at that time and had never thought I would start playing music.

It seems "Master McDermott's" is actually not a traditional tune. But anyway, I don't claim this is my own original composition, so feel free to play it on the stage or record it in the studio. If you don't like the title, you may call it "McDermott's Jig" or something like that. (Don't rename after my Japanese name.) Well, I might try to popularise it in the local session. Hope many of you will enjoy the tune.
