Rogha An Ghabha/The Blacksmith's Fancy

This Donegal reel was transcribed for me by Malcolm Reavell, from a tape from the Willie Clancy week from some years ago. Subsequently recorded by "Altan" and more recently, "Danu".
In English, the title is "The Blacksmith's Fancy". I think this was requested a while back.

Anybody have advice for playing this tune on a flute? Solo, I just transpose the octaves for the low notes, but it isn't quite the same. I imagine it's more effective in ensemble.

Wonderful first part. Is it just me or is the second part devoid of anything interesting?

Maybe it will grow on me.
