This jig was composed by Josie McDermott. The story goes that Josie, Dominic Cosgrove, and Peg McGrath were returning from a fleadh in 1969. During the craic, someone suggested that "they break a window to let them know we were there." Instead of breaking a window, Josie composed this tune...in twenty minutes.
