Druid music
I've got two recordings of this. It may be a chestnut, but it's great fun to play, at least for a fiddler. Thanks for posting it!

Actually I quite like this having revisited it just now. Before I looked at the dots there I was confusing it with another old chestnut whose actual name escapes me but is a polka/longdance.
This is a nicer setting of y Derwydd than the one I'd seen in the past. Its good on the flute like this too. Fiddlemouse do you use this setting? Thanks c!

Fiddling druidry...
Lesl,
I'm just starting to play this setting, but as of now I like it enough to keep using it!

More fiddling druidry
Although I have to admit the roll on the A in the 5th measure isn't too fiddle-friendly, unless you pop up into third position. I may fudge that bit!
I've got another version of Y Derwydd, one I learned by ear from a Gwerinos recording. I'm thinking of making a set out of the two of them and a suitable third piece (not chosen yet).

What Sara said
Hi Sara, you could play the AFA there. That's how I used to do it, no rolls at all actually, but I like the rolls better (but I'm on the floot ffliwt fflwt

It looks flute friendly. I'll see how it works

"Y Derwydd" = "The Druid"
Thanks for the heads up Jeffery, I hadn't done the pronunciation on this one, not having been the original contributor...
Y ~ "uh"
Derwydd ~ "Dare-oi-th" ~ 'oi' as in 'oil', or "Oye You!" The 'th' is voiced (='dd') as in the English words 'the', 'this', 'bathe'...
"Y Derwydd" ~ "Uh Dare-oi-th"
