Micho Russell's
I did check the titles. This one of Micho's is not in the database.
From the playing of Josie McDermott.

Doonagore
Kevin Crawford has this as the "Doonagore" on his 2nd CD, but that's a title I have only heard given to this tune in the last 3 years or so. Josie McDermott recorded it , and so did Mary Bergin, both calling it "Micho Russell's".

Kenny, get out of my head!
Last night I spent 3 hours transcribing this exact tune off the Maple Leaf, under the title Josie McDermott's, second tune track 1. I sent my ABCs to Dow & Will to check, & look who stole my thunder! Weird! I was working on Jimmy Noonan's setting anyway, so I'll post it later today here in the comments section. Coincidence? *twilight zone theme*

Happens all the time................
Sorry about that , emily. It's happened to me recently with "Eddie Kelly's", "The Allow", "John Dwyer's", and "Spindleshanks". What can you do??
If it helps, the next ones I'm thinking of posting are "The Spider's Web", "Dandy Denny Cronin" and "The West Wind". The last one is on the "Maple Leaf" CD - do you want it? All the best!

Naw, I was just floored I thought I had found a good 'un to post & it was literally snatched up in a matter of hours! Personally, I'd rather shove hot needles in my eyes than sweat over this ABC stuff most of the time... maybe it would be easier if I had the Amazing Slow Downer or something. Didn't want everyone to think I was a freeloading slacker, always making academically pedantic & frivolous chitchat, thought maybe I'd contribute a tune or two. Thanks though, Kenny! Nice tune!

Jimmy Noonan's setting
If only I'd plugged in that darn X line, I would've beat Kenny to the punch! Ah well...

"This tune is on the Kilfenora Céilí Band's "Set in Stone" CD where it follows the Doon Reel. ~ transcribing from the CD ~ I hope the result is fairly accurate!"
