Tom's Jig

This is my first attempt at posting a tune here, so I hope I've got it right. I decided to use one of my own tunes to avoid replicating tunes already on the list here. Wrote this one for my lad when he was a nipper.

Well! I managed to make a total mess of that. How fiddle players are going to play a role on that open e in the second part is any ones guess.. Oh well, it can't be deleted or edited and as they say 'in cyber space no one can hear you scream'...

Roll on

Well one way to play that E in the 15th bar would be to play it on the A string or ... do the roll up to an F and back to the open E ... just like you would on a banjo. Nice tune with a lot of drive in it. Do you play this in GDAe or CGDa tuning?

I play it in the GDAe tuning. I wrote it down in abc as I Banjo player would play it i.e the Banjo equivalent of a full roll, forgot that Fiddle players would find it impossible...
