Bunch of Rushes

A grand little tune, this. Needs to be played at a steady tempo - definitely not a fast tune! Hornpipes are usually played with a dotted rhythm but this sounds really good played straight. you can get a great deal of variety mixing the two rhythms; say, first all through straight, then repeated dotted, or by mixing dotted and straight phrase by phrase as you feel.

I should have added that it's modal, not G Major, but I can never remember the proper names each of the modes. Also, it's very similar in structure and feel to 'The Little Heathy Hill'; another fine tune.

I'd take a stab and say Dmix.

Interesting tune. It reminds me of Chief O'Neill's Favourite.
