Imelda Roland's
I'm not sure where I got this setting, but I constructed the abcs to play Jeremy's little midi-piano with some pizzaz.

Imelda Roland's
PB - I knew this tune from the Verena Commins & Julie Langan recording and have been meaning to learn it years. I suddenly suddenly noticed it getting played at some sessions recently, and decided to buckly down and get it; thanks for the transcription!

Imelda Roland's
E. Galway concertina player Claire Keville writes: "[Imelda Roland's] was written by Imelda Roland of the well-known east Galway family. Her daughter Yvonne informed Claire, that Imelda lilted this tune while boiling potatoes for pigs and sometime later it was popularised by Joe Cooley and Raymond Roland."
from the notes of "An Tri is a Rian" by Claire Keville, John Weir and Eithne Ni Dhonaile.

Imelda Roland's
I got this tune in the 70s from a set on the album "King Gooden" by Vin Garbutt, Teesside singer and player of various instruments - he played this one on whistle.
The set was spliced together in the studio (I assume), I can't see how it could have been done live: he began with I'm Waiting For You on a D or Eb whistle, went without a break into Imelda Rowland's on a C whistle, and finished with The Doon in D or Eb again.
It's a great tune which I haven't heard played much in sessions.

also on the Tulla Ceili band's 50th anniversary CD, nice and steady version (before Cregg's Pipes).
