I got this tune from Brendan Bulger when he was over in Sydney, but have no name for it. It sounds a bit like a Tommy Maguire tune to me. I'd be very grateful if someone could tell me what it's called and whether I can find it on a recording.

Anyone have a copy of Fort of Kincora?
Mark, this from Brendan:
________________
"This tune I got from the classic classic classic recording made by Martin Connolly and the late Maureen Glynn. (I have never recorded it.) Title of album is "The Fort of Kincora".
"I have long since forgotten the title of the tune, even. But my source is as stated above. Maybe you can find the album, mix and match 'til you get the title. My cassette version of the recording has been so used that the print is worn off. Not a bum tune on the whole thing. Anyway, I think it is a relatively old tune, not a composition of Martin's anyway. (Martin is Seamus Connolly's brother, by the way. One of the best box players to walk....)"

"Fort of Kincora" is an LP from 1987. Anybody got a copy?

Martin Connolly says that the 1st bar should read |AFD ECA,| instead of |AFD EDA,|. I've had another listen to my recording of Brendan Bulger and he's definitely playing a D in his version.
