The Westbrook Bell

After my post berating "other genres" & "new compositions" I thought I'd have the audicity to post one of my own compositions.

The tune is inspired by the Sligo Tradition & was written about a month ago. I didn't have a title for it yet though. I kicked around a couple of names from "The Creel" (a store owned by some of my relations in Carrick) to a "A Wink from the Ladies" but none seemed to fit it too well. Until last weekend, I attended a fife & drum muster in Westbrook, CT. Long after the parade, & the 100 odd person fife & drum 'jam session' an Irish-ish session broke out. There is a bell in the Congressional Church that chimes EVERY HOUR, even 4 am. This is when the session broke way to dirty jokes & even dirtier songs. This is also the point when i found a name fitting to the tune.

Please let me know what you folks think of it.
